  • Once your booking is confirmed, I’ll ask you to provide a few reference photos of your pet. These photos should show your subject from different angles to help me capture their likeness and personality accurately.

    Before I begin your portrait, I’ll guide you through exactly what kind of photos work best and when to send them, so you don’t need to worry about preparing everything in advance. I may also ask a few simple questions regarding your preferred size and orientation, any specific details you’d like included (collar, background tone, etc.

  • Yes, the portrait price includes a soft gradient background using one or two colours. Before I begin the original artwork, I’ll send you a PDF mockup based on the photos you provide, using the background tone of your choice (blues, greens, browns, or similar shades) so you can approve it before I start.

    If you’d like a more detailed or illustrative background, the price will be adjusted accordingly. For example your pet in a forest. The final price will depend on the complexity of the idea.

  • I take on a limited number of commissions each month to ensure the highest level of quality and attention to detail.

    The current turnaround time is approximately 2–3 weeks for individual portraits, depending on size and complexity.

    Smaller pieces are typically completed in under one week once work has begun.

  • Your portrait comes with a detailed Art Care Instructions sheet, giving you clear guidance on how to handle and preserve your artwork. It’s best to have your portrait framed under glass with a framing mount (sometimes called a mat). A professional framer will ensure the right materials are used to protect your piece. To keep your portrait in the best condition, it’s recommended to frame it soon after receiving it, helping prevent damage from accidents, humidity, or dust.
